Mind:Body Medicine
for individual and community aliveness
Mind:Body Medicine
Culture & Community Resilience
I weave Chinese medicine with a psycho-emotional approach. I work concurrently at the level of the physical body and the ‘Shen’ (a chinese medicine term for the ‘spirit’ or consciousness’). My approach recognizes that physical and psycho-emotional health flow together as two intertwined, interconnected aspects of the same vital system. By transforming the psyche through psycho-emotional work alongside treating physical excesses and deficiencies and places of stagnation in our bodies, we can come back into balance and wholeness.
We can awaken to the deep truth of our being and open to the sacred lessons life is here to teach us.

As a community organizer and consultant, I bring a deep understanding of the interconnection between individual and community health. For me, healing is tending to both the individual and the societal levels concurrently. The micro and the macro.
Healing is communities working together to care for the lands they live on. It is protecting the waters and building soils. It is saving seeds and making offerings of gratitude to the earth. It is protecting one another from harm.
Now is the time to return to right relationship with all that we share life with.

1-on-1: Mind/Body Medicine
This work weaves Chinese medicine health counselling, psycho-emotional work, and ritual/rites of passage work. Through exploring the physical and emotional material and how they flow in confluence, I approach symptomology as a simultaneous expression of both mind & body. My approach looks at how the physical symptoms of the body tell the story of one's emotional experience, and vice versa. In our work together, we explore multiple layers concurrently, unearthing the roots of disharmony and moving stuck energy so that you can experience greater flow, energy, and joy in your life.

Building Culture & Community Resilience
Our personal wellbeing is inextricably tied to the health of our culture and community - we are as healthy as the communities we are a part of. Personal and communal health cannot be separated. They flow and flourish with one another. When people experience a greater sense of belonging and connection to the sacred, they experience an aliveness that comes from being tethered to something bigger than themselves.

As a community visionary and architect, I work collaboratively to create programs and events at the intersection of intergenerational commmunity, rites of passage work, ceremony, earth-based wisdom, and ancestral connection. I also provide organizational consultancy for projects that want to increase their capacities in the realm of regenerative community and culture repair work.
