Earth based medicine
for individual and community aliveness

A watershed that is fed concurrently by many tributaries, all which flow together to determine the state of our aliveness and health.  Our emotional watershed holds our lived experiences as well as other aspects of our story such as our ancestral lineage and the bigger cultural story we are born into. They all converge into a repository of beliefs and identities that determine how we experience life.

Our watershed is also determined by our physical ecologies. We are the water we drink, the foods we eat, and the soils that grow and sustain us. We take shape from our bioregions, through the elements that flow through them, and by the way the seasons animate the places we live.

We are our relationship to all that we share life with.

~ As a practitioner of multiple modalities, I weave Chinese medicine with a psycho-emotional approach. I work concurrently at the level of the ‘Shen’ (a chinese medicine term for the ‘spirit’ or consciousness’) as well as the physical body. My approach recognizes that physical and psycho-emotional health flow together as two intertwined forces.

~ As a community organizer, I bring a deep understanding of the interconnection between individual and community health. For me, healing is tending to individual and the societal levels concurrently. The micro and the macro.  Healing is communities caring for the lands they live on. It is protecting the waters and building soils. It is saving seeds and making offerings of gratitude to the earth.

Our lives are a watershed.

The medicine I practice sees health as the convergence of individual, community, and earth wellbeing. It is a medicine of relationship.

Work with me...

1-on-1: Mind/Body Confluence

This work weaves psycho-emotional work, Chinese medicine health counselling, and ritual/rites of passage work. Through exploring the physical and emotional material and how it flows in confluence, I approach symptomology as a simultaneous expression of both mind & body. My approach looks at how the physical symptoms of the body tell the story of one's emotional experience, and vice versa. In our work together, we explore multiple layers concurrently, unearthing the roots of disharmony and moving stuck energy so that you can experience greater flow, energy, and joy in your life. â€‹

Group offerings:
Building Culture & Community Resilience

Our personal wellbeing is inextricably tied to the health of our culture and community...we are as healthy as the communities we are a part of.  Personal and communal health cannot be separated.  They flow and flourish with one another. As a community visionary and architect, I work collaboratively to create programs and events at the intersection of intergenerational commmunity, rites of passage work, ceremony, earth-based wisdom, and ancestral connection. I also provide organizational consultancy for projects that want to increase their capacities in the realm of regenerative community and culture repair work. I am in service to the prayer for peace and collective liberation for all, and helping people experience a greater sense of belonging and connection to the sacred.

“Tali's capacity to hear what's going on underneath is uncanny.  She has helped me so much with her wise framing of the growth edge I'm at with love and clarity. She delivers powerful medicine with her insight right where it's needed.”
